Canon Rebel Kit
Most cameras come with a basic kit when you purchase them, whether it is from the manufacturer, off of the Internet, or from a stores specializing in technological gadgets. This standard kit usually contains the camera body, a neck strap, and two premium lithium batteries. But if you purchase a pre-defined kit from another source, you will most likely get these items along with a few others.

Neck Strap
There are dozens of neck straps available from Canon and other companies, and most of the straps are compatible with any type of camera. If for some reason you drop the camera, having a neck strap insures that the camera will not be broken. This cheap insurance policy could save you quite a bit of money in the long run.

A video cable will allow you to view your pictures on the television, offering a high tech version of old time projectors. Now, instead of having to prime the projector and load the exposure tape, you can simply attach the video cable to your camera and to your television and scroll through vacation, graduation, or any other pictures. Using this cable offers a great way to reconnect or reminisce about times gone by.
Interface Cable
Easily transfer photos from your camera to a CP card photo printer with the touch of a button. These photo printers make getting your pictures so much easier! A trip to a photo developer is unnecessary and printing off low grade photos from your computer printer is no longer an issue. Simply attach any compatible interface cable to your camera and the printer and you'll be able to print out any pictures that you would like.
Battery Charger
Some more inclusive camera kits will include a battery charger. While this isn't necessary to operate your camera, it will save you some money and a headache or two when it comes to batteries. Using a camera will usually drain a set of batteries quickly, and going to the store every other week to purchase a new pack can get expensive. With a battery charger you can charge the same set of batteries over and over again without worrying about purchasing new ones.
